RACERS PRAYERS
Lord I pray as I race today
Keep me safe along the way
Not only Me but others too
As they perform the jobs they do
I know God that in a race I the driver must set the pace
But in this race of life I pray
Although I know I am a sinner
You're always a winner

Oh LORD grant that I may carry the true spirit of joy into racing.
Help me be dependent upon YOU for my fulfillment and happiness.
With all my heart I come to YOU for protection.
Fortify my strength so that I may run a good race.
Forgive my trespasses and give me the power to be victorious over sin so that when life's checkered flag is waved I will have won the ultimate victory through our Savior Jesus Christ!

Before I start my engine Lord I need to talk to you.
And ask humbly your blessing for what I'm about to do.
I give you all the credit for it's only by your grace, that I have reached this starting line, to run another race.
The road that lies before me now uncertain it may be, but I can face this challenge Lord, If you will ride with me.
Prepare my heart and give me strength, Protect me from all harm.
With ever-present danger, hold me safely in your arms.
Lord blesses my competition, my friends and family, May they know your LOVE for them, and see that love in me.
Please guide my way, direct my path Keep my perspective true, and Lord remind me in this life that all roads lead to you.
And should I cross life's finish line please know I've done my best Oh, Lord have mercy on my soul, and grant eternal rest.
